Is it true that linseed oil paint dries slowly?

In comparison with plastic paints, linseed oil paint dries more slowly. However, the drying time of a surface painted with linseed oil paint varies depending on the conditions outdoors or in the room where you are painting. Drying is fastest in the summer and benefits from sunny, warm weather. When painting indoors, it is important to ensure adequate ventilation so that a lot of oxygen enters the room. You can also speed up the process by adding a little desiccant to linseed oil paint before painting indoors. In general, it is difficult to estimate the drying time for linseed oil paint; it can vary between 12 and 36 hours. Remember to apply the paint in thin layers.
